Well, yesterday was the first soccer practice for the Parish Princesses (and the first time my little one has ever played soccer). I am happy to say that all of the girls played very well and looked good at the same time - decked out with soccer shoes with pink on them and an array of pink soccer balls! The coaches are great and this is definitely going to be a fun and not serious team - perfect for a group of four and five year old princesses! Ali is really happy to be playing on the same team as her friend from Creme and now Parish schoolmate, Ria (and thanks Elly Marsh for all of the positive info on Parish - you are a big part of the reason we pushed for Parish!).
This afternoon, Ali and I went to brunch with her new classmate, Sam, and her mom, Jay, at Grand Luxe - an Ali favorite (one of her top ten choices for chicken nuggets & french fries in Dallas and as we all know she is the ultimate cn & ff gourmande). Then, it was onto the class party at Adventure Kids. Ali really enjoyed climbing in the play structure with her new friends, Sam, Ripley and Avery and playing basketball with Matthew and his mom and dad. She als
o enjoyed meeting the rest of her co-students for Mrs. Winslow's and Mrs. Huff's class. Here is the best shot I got when we tried for a group picture (nobody has asked me to run for class historian/photographer - wonder why... LOL) Aren't they cute?
Ali can't wait for Tuesday - can't tell if she is that excited about starting school or wearing her new dress that she picked out at Safari Kids - whichever it is, her enthusiasm is contagious! She is growing into a beautiful young lady - I am so proud of her and love her so much....
More after school starts....
