Here's Ali's class with their identical sun hats.
Here's a picture of Farmer Charlie giving the girls a grand tour. The girls are now being show a chicken and how eggs are made.
I and three other moms were lucky enough to join. What a cute and fun day!
Having newly moved to the area, Ali and I have been fervently checking out new "hang outs". One of our favorites is Gumdrops and Sprinkles in Wayne. It is a cute little ice cream store which also sells candy by the pound. We are regulars at least once a week. One of Ali's friends introduced her to the green ice cream there (mint), and the object is to see how green you can get your tongue and how quickly you can do this. Ali accomplishes this by eating a lot of the ice cream fast and getting "brain freeze". It is adorable - chairs are shaped like ice cream cones and tables are chalkboards with chalk at each table. For the price of a cone, you get access to a whole sundae bar with hot fudge and all sorts of toppies (from sprinkles to nuts). We have several versions of the "green tongue" picture but in this one, she is the greenest. We will take later pictures to compare!
Here's Ali with her green tongue!
