First December Weekend of 2008

Well, the Christmas Season is upon us with the usual rush of events as well as December birthdays. On Friday night, Ali spent the evening with her dad watching Barbie's version of a Christmas Carol while mom had a rare "night out" at a dinner with some school related female friends. Then on Saturday, we headed to friend's sister's second birthday party at Little Gym. Ali was an invited guest by virtue of being older sister's "best friend". The other two best friends, comprising the "Four Musketeers" were in attendance as well. The four year olds had just as much fun as the two year olds. I can't believe how quickly our children are growing - it was almost literally yesterday that the birthday girl was a baby in her infant carrier and now she is in the 2 year old class, where the Four Musketeers first met.

Here's a before and after - a random photo from a dance class last year:

And a random photo of the girls at Katelyn's party this year:

They have grown so much!

Yesterday, we went to a benefit Babar Tea with Ali's best friend, sister and Mom. The venue was beautifully decorated and there were activities ranging from pictures with Babar to face painting to bruch to cooking decorating. Santa was also in attendance and the older girls managed to sneak in some one on one time with St. Nick. The girls had a wonderful time!
