Ali has been taking riding lessons at Bridlewood Stables since September and has been bitten by the horse bug. She is very good and has even begun posting and "two pointing" over poles which are usually skills done by older kids. But, more importantly, she loves it! Not only does she ride but helps every week to tack and untack as well as groom the horses. Well, this week Bridlewood had a horse show and Ali was entered in the "lead line" class. She was in three rounds, and won first place and is so proud of her blue ribbon. But, not prouder than her Mom - I love my baby girl so much and can't believe how quickly she is growing. So, in 28 degree weather at 8:00 on a Sunday morning, we all went to watch the pinnacle of Ali's achievement in horseback riding to date, including her best friend, Jordan. The girls had fun and then spent the rest of the day together. What a great day!
